We were asked by a local business to make a mezzanine floor in an steel framed building into a small office and kitchenette in which they could run there business.
The structure was fairly new and as such there was no problems with water ingress. We first created the studwork to split the space into rooms. An office space at the front and rear, and a kitchen area in the center.

Once the stud walls were completed, they were wired for the light fittings and plugs and then insulated between each room to control background noise and heatloss. The external part of the walls and ceiling were also insulated using xtratherm 100mm PIR board to stop heat loss through the cladding and roof sheets.

The client asked for the walls to be boarded using plywood instead of plasterboard to give greater fixings for shelves, screens etc, They were extremely happy with the outcome of the conversion which made a cold and dusty storage area into a warm and comfortable office space.
